Project:
My project focuses on hybrid performance in continuous corn cropping systems. By analyzing root density, plant biomass and certain alleopathic characteristics I hope to better define qualities that are important for continuous corn.
Background:
I was born and raised on a row crop farm near Algona, Iowa. I have been involved with my family’s farming operation since high school and those experiences lead me to agronomy at Iowa State University.
Education:
B.S. in Agronomy with a secondary major in Seed Science. Iowa State University. 2007.
