Visual Assessment: Beef Manure Application Rates

Do you know how much manure you apply? The following photos represent 5 different rates of solid beef manure applied to cornstalk residue and soybean residue. Can you guess the rates? The manure was hand-applied to the plots on August 21, 2006 as part of the field demonstration activities at the 2006 Manure Management Clinic. Answers appear at the bottom of the page.
